On October 25, the 14th China Fiber-Optic Sensing Conference (OFS-China 2026) concluded successfully in Ningbo. As a high-level and wide-reaching annual industry event in China’s fiber-optic sensing field, the conference was hosted by the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering and brought together nearly 1,000 professional representatives from universities, research institutes, the three major telecom operators, key industries such as energy and transportation, and companies across the entire industrial chain. Focusing on intelligent sensing, integrated sensing and communication, specialty fiber-optic components, and the engineering deployment of distributed sensing, the event featured keynote reports, 12 thematic sub-forums, technology roadshows, innovative product displays, and industry demand matchmaking, providing an important platform for connecting fundamental research, technical breakthroughs, and large-scale application.

During the exhibition, Joinwit presented a range of precision test equipment and customized solutions for fiber-optic sensing scenarios, with highlights including polarization extinction ratio (PER) test systems, polarization state analyzers, and degree of polarization (DOP) meters. These products cover the full testing process from university laboratory R&D to production-line verification of fiber-optic sensing components. On-site technical teams provided live demonstrations, one-on-one technical consultations, and scenario-based solution matchmaking, engaging with industry partners on common challenges such as low optical path debugging efficiency and difficult multi-parameter synchronous testing. The solutions attracted significant attention and recognition from researchers and industrial users.

At this conference, Joinwit reconnected with long-term partners from universities, research institutes, and the industrial chain, and also met many new friends. Every exchange and discussion helped us better understand the real requirements of fiber-optic sensing scenarios for test accuracy, efficiency, and ease of use, and further strengthened our commitment to serving industry development with domestically developed precision test equipment. Although OFS-China 2026 has come to a close, innovation and cooperation continue.
